Lignano Sabbiadoro

Loop tour between sea and lagoon

A cycling itinerary between sea, nature and culture

Loop Tour: Lignano’s Three Waters

Have you ever felt what it’s like to ride where the river’s fresh water meets the Adriatic’s salt?
Our Three Waters Tour is not just a ride—it’s a 20 km sensory journey in the heart of Lignano. We’ll set off from the seafront to the legendary Red Lighthouse, brushed by the sea breeze, then admire the evocative Marano Lagoon, among the quiet of the bilancioni and its changing colours, before diving into the spiral design of the Pinewood and discovering the wild soul of the Tagliamento river mouth.

Lignano Sabbiadoro, overlooking the Friulian Adriatic coast, is one of the most popular destinations for cycle tourism thanks to its scenic cycle paths, shaded pinewoods and evocative landscapes between sea, river and lagoon. This loop tour starts and ends in Lignano Sabbiadoro and is ideal for a day outdoors, combining sport, nature and discovery.
