Within its walls, which tell the story of the transformation from marshland to fertile farmland, you can feel the rhythm of history and the human ingenuity that made this achievement possible. First built in 1880, it represents an important example of nineteenth-century industrial architecture.

The building can be reached via four different roads, all named “Macchina Fissa”, highlighting its importance.
